Across India, some of the most effective lifestyle programmes for diabetes, weight and metabolic health have grown by word of mouth: in clinics, workshops and community groups. They work. But they rest on a few committed people, and they are hard to grow without losing what makes them work.
Meanwhile, most health apps offer generic content with no connection to a patient's own doctor or programme.
We started Swastham to close that gap: to give programmes that work a lasting digital home, with their creators and doctors firmly in charge. The aim is simple. Well-being should be part of ordinary life, not a luxury add-on.
