Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
This policy explains how Swastham handles personal data collected through this website, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act) and the rules made under it. This website is for healthcare providers and partners. It is not a patient service.
Who we are
Swastham ("we", "us") decides why and how this data is used, so we are the Data Fiduciary for it under the DPDP Act.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website only. Patients who use an app built on Swastham receive a separate privacy notice inside the app, which explains how their health information is handled.
What we collect
- Details you give us in the contact form: your name, role, organisation, city, email, mobile number, how you'd like us to reach you, and your message.
- Technical data that any web server records when a page is requested: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it only to keep the site running and secure.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. About cookies.
Please do not share any patient information through this website.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no social media widgets, and it does not store anything in your browser. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which does not set cookies but does receive your IP address and browser details (see Who we share it with).
If we add analytics in future, we will list every cookie here and ask for your consent before setting any that aren't strictly necessary.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a call and decide whether a partnership makes sense. We do this with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to market to patients.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Our website hosting provider.
- Our email provider, which receives your enquiry.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site. When a page loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details. See Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Data processed outside India
Some of these providers may process data outside India. We only use such transfers where the DPDP Act allows them, and never to a country the Government of India has restricted.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to reply to you and to follow up on any partnership that comes from it, or until you withdraw consent, whichever comes first, unless a law requires us to keep them longer. Server logs are kept only as long as needed to run the site securely.
Security and breaches
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it. If a personal data breach happens, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and the people affected, as the DPDP Act requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
- withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it: one email is enough. It does not affect what we did before you withdrew;
- have a grievance addressed by us; and
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
Email contact@swastham.life. We will respond within the time the DPDP Act and its rules require.
Children
This website is meant for adults acting in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Grievance officer
Write to contact@swastham.life with “Grievance” in the subject line. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and its date. For significant changes, we will tell people whose data we hold.
