For consulting doctors

Your advice deserves more than a good first week.

Every OPD brings patients whose diabetes, blood pressure or weight would respond to diet and activity. Swastham lets you prescribe an established lifestyle programme with daily coaching, and see how each patient is doing before they return. You remain the treating doctor.

The problem

Advice given in a short consultation rarely survives the months that follow.

Patients leave your OPD resolved to change. Then come family meals, weddings, festivals, travel and long workdays. By the next follow-up, many are where they started, and the conversation turns to another tablet.

You know lifestyle belongs beside medication. What's missing is the daily part: someone to look at the meals, answer the small doubts and bring patients gently back on course.

That daily part is what Swastham does, through established programmes and trained coaches rather than generic wellness content.

What you get

A ready programme, a coaching team and a clear view of every patient, without adding OPD hours.

An established programme

Prescribe a structured, evidence-based programme, such as Dixit Lifestyle's two-meal plan for type 2 diabetes. There's no method to design yourself.

Trained coaches

Programme coaches handle daily check-ins, meal reviews and encouragement: the steady, patient work a consultation can't hold.

Your patient view

Before each follow-up, see how the patient has done: daily logs, reported symptoms, and readings such as HbA1c and fasting and post-prandial blood sugar.

Red-flag escalation

Symptoms such as dizziness or a low-sugar episode reach the care team under the programme's escalation rules, so medicines can be reviewed in time.

Video consultations

See enrolled patients by video from within the app, whenever a clinic visit isn't needed.

Made for a busy practice

Coaches carry the daily work, so your time goes only to decisions that need a doctor. Terms are agreed in writing before you begin.

How it works

What happens after you prescribe a programme.

  1. DAY 0

    You prescribe

You recommend the programme during a consultation. The patient downloads the app and enrols.

  2. DAY 1

    Screening

The app checks the patient against the programme's eligibility criteria. Anyone flagged comes back to you to decide.

  3. EVERY DAY

    Daily coaching

The patient logs meals, activity and readings. A coach reviews them, replies, and keeps the plan on track.

  4. FOLLOW-UP

    You review

Before the next visit, you see adherence and trends at a glance, and adjust medicines as you judge right.

What stays with you

You remain the clinician. The programme remains the programme.

Questions

Questions doctors ask us.

All FAQs

Will I lose my patients to the programme?

No. You remain the treating doctor. The programme's coaches support daily habits; medicines and follow-ups stay with you.

Who is clinically responsible for my patients on a programme?

You are, for everything that needs a doctor: diagnosis, medicines, and how to respond to a red flag. Coaches support daily habits and never advise on medicines. When something needs a clinician, it reaches the care team under the programme's escalation rules.

How does a referral work in practice?

You recommend the programme during a consultation. Your patient downloads the app and enrols, and the app screens them against the programme's eligibility criteria. Anyone who may not be suitable comes back to you before they begin.

How much of my time will it take?

Very little beyond what you already do. Coaches carry the daily work, so your time goes to enrolment decisions, reviewing red flags and follow-ups.

In twenty minutes, we'll walk you through the referral, the programme and what you'll see before each follow-up. If it doesn't suit your practice, we'll say so.

No obligation. We work around your OPD hours.
